Salem Lutheran Church, in Affton, is a community of believers who are willing and able to share the love of Jesus. We are part of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. Our School

Salem Lutheran School, in Affton, has been serving St. Louis City and County families for just over 100 years. We provide early childhood education for children starting at the age of two years old and continue through 8th grade. The NAEP Report, often called the “Nation’s Report Card” ranked the Lutheran School system the #1 school system in the country. We welcome you to learn more about us and contact us with questions.

As the Principal of Salem Lutheran School in Affton, I have observed the commitment of our faculty and staff to forming relationships with families and serving the individual needs of children. We strive to create an atmosphere of excellence, so that children can develop their God-given abilities to their fullest potential. The school climate is one that encourages students to develop a servant leader’s heart.

Central to the quality Christ-centered education children receive is our wonderfully devoted faculty. Our low student-to-teacher ratios allow teachers to meet individual needs better. All of our teachers hold teaching degrees and average more than 12 years of teaching experience. They are strong Christian role models and demonstrate an active faith life by being involved in many areas of ministry at Salem Lutheran Church.
